Angela graduated from nursing school in St. Louis,Mo in 1989 from University of Missouri, St. Louis and St Louis Community College at Forest Park. She went directly into Labor and Delivery at a level 3 inner city facility. She then moved to Las Vegas in 1991 continuing in Labor and Delivery at UMC hospital and MountainView Hospital as well as a Birthing Center.

After 8 years of practice, she returned to school and received a dual certification as a Women’s Heath Care Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife at EPA/San Jose State University. She is a member of the NNA, APN-SPG and American College of Nurse Midwives. She is the past legislative liaison for the local chapter. She’s has been instrumental in bringing CNM’s into local hospitals over the course of 26 years.

Angela offers individualized health care. She supports women as active participants in the patient/provider relationship; both to empower women and to achieve successful/satisfying outcomes in OB and GYN settings.

In her leisure time she enjoys reading, cycling, traveling, and is an avid scuba diver which she enjoys with her husband. She is the mother of two and grandmother of one granddaughter.
