My name is Christie and I’m a certified nurse midwife. I am passionate about women’s health care throughout the lifespan and providing the most evidence-based care to all women. I truly felt that I wanted to be a patient advocate and provide quality, equitable care and becoming a provider was a way for me to ensure that the patients I came into contact with were able to have that. I believe that all patients deserve to have informed, evidence-based care and all decisions should be shared. I believe that while my job is to diagnose and manage, it is also to empower patients to take control of their health. My areas of interest include women’s health, specifically sexual health, perimenopausal/menopausal care and contraceptive care. Outside of work, I love hanging out with my husband and three children. I like to go boating on the lake and I also love to exercise, crochet and craft.
